El Tour De Tucson - in three days

El Tour Expo at the TCC

Today it finally felt "for real." Today was day one of the El Tour Expo at the TCC - where riders check in, get their number and electronic timing tag, watch a safety presentation and visit with vendors. And finally, it feels "real."

I need to be at the start line by 11am Saturday. The 38-mile race (formerly the 42 mile race) starts at noon near Oracle and Tangerine.  The weather is a little iffy - hopefully the rain will either happen Friday sometime, or late Saturday.

I expect to be finished between 3:00 and 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Should have some pictures posted shortly after the race. Watch this space!
