As I walk Wrangler The Dog sometimes, I find myself looking up at the stars in the sky, and it occurs to me that it must have been very mysterious for people many thousands of years ago - not knowing why some "stars" (actually planets) moved differently in the sky than other stars... the phases of the moon... comets... all the stuff that we sort of understand now. Even now we don't have all the answers about the universe. But it must've been a little intimidating all those generations ago to look up and have almost no understanding of what was going on up there.
