Many have asked, "since you're doing all this bike riding, are you going to ride in the El Tour De Tucson?"
Answer: PROBABLY.
The other day I rode 42 miles, which is the length of the El Tour, but I didn't ride the same route as the El Tour. Before I commit to the El Tour I think I'd like to ride the actual route - AND I'm pretty close to deciding (and buying) my new bike, to replace my 20+ year old Schwinn. Probably with a Trek, which is what most of the people I know are riding.
If those two things happen, then YES, I will be riding in the El Tour. It's for a good cause and looks like a lot of fun.
