This morning's ride

I went on a 35 mile ride around a mountain and along Lake Mead, near Las Vegas. There is a paved path that starts and ends at the Railroad Pass hotel on US93 just a few miles from the Arizona border. This is the route:

It was much hillier than I am used to on the Rillito River path in Tucson. But it was a gorgeous ride, a beautiful morning, and a neat way to spend some time seeing the sights.

At the end I was almost afraid I was lost. You don't see the hotel (starting point) until almost the last minute, so I wasn't sure I was going to finish in the right place. If I had been lost, it would have been a real pain after riding 35 miles.
